S1 Ep 14 - Short - Water Levels Looping Feedback
In my journey with urine therapy, I have found that "looping"—the practice of re-consuming released fluids—offers a profound level of biofeedback and water upcycling that traditional healing modalities lack. By recycling approximately 50% to 80% of my daily fluids, I have developed an acute consciousness of my body’s internal state. This practice allows me to monitor the delicate balance of inputs and outputs, transforming the simple act of excretion into a sophisticated diagnostic tool.

The Language of Taste and FeedbackThe cornerstone of this practice is the signals intelligence provided by the tongue and nose. I distinguish between flavor (sensed through the nose) and taste (sensed as sweet, sour, or tart by the tongue) to analyze the contents of my urine, which is essentially filtered blood. I typically cycle through three phases:* *Salty**: Indicates an excess of mineral salts from a veggie meal. *Sweet**: Suggests the body is releasing excess blood sugars, often after I consume fruit like bananas. **Bland/Neutral**: Occurs once the body has fully processed these nutrients. If I eat a sugary meal but my urine is not sweet, I know my body burned those calories immediately through exertion. This direct feedback allows me to adjust my diet with a precision that "fraudulent" mainstream science cannot provide.

Hydration and Environmental Interaction My understanding of hydration extends beyond drinking water. I recognize that the body is a "two-way street," absorbing moisture through humid air via lung tissue and through the skin during bathing or swimming. I have observed that extreme conditions—such as the "wrinkly" skin of a long bath or the "swamp foot" of a saturated environment—are the body’s way of signaling that it has hit its maximum water capacity.Conversely, sudden, extreme thirst is often a signal from the microbiome that the system has been poisoned, whether by chemically processed "food" or toxic environmental factors like air fresheners. In these moments, the body demands water to dilute toxins so the liver can process them for elimination.

Dietary Consistency and Diversity I maintain a baseline of roughly 2,500 calories, primarily from organic, raw fruits and vegetables, to provide my microbiome with predictability. My diet consists of:* *Regular Inputs**: 10 bananas and 2 apples daily, along with a veggie bowl of carrots, broccoli, cabbage, beets, and onions. *Strategic Irregularity**: I introduce "regular irregularity" by adding turnips, parsnips, or mangoes to keep the system adaptive. **Smart Processing**: I use pressure cooking to "de-lectinize" potatoes and fermentation to reduce oxalates, maximizing nutritional efficiency. By listening to these signals—cravings, tastes, and hydration levels—I act as the master of my own "earth suit". This practice is about more than just recycling water; it is about honoring the elegant, anti-fragile communication structure built into the human body to maintain a balanced macrobiome.
