The Wisdom of the Water of Life: A Summary Essay
Welcome back to the podcast; I am Henry, and today I want to share my deep conviction regarding the profound healing potential found in working with nature rather than against it. Through my reading of Armstrong’s work, I aim to illuminate how the "common cold" is not a malady to be suppressed but an essential "house cleaning" process triggered by an unbalanced, starch-heavy diet. When we use drugs to "nip it in the bud," we are merely frustrating nature, often leading to more severe conditions like pneumonia or bronchitis. True healing comes from fasting on one’s own urine and water, which allows the body to cleanse its interior and rebalance its vital mineral salts.
This method is not merely a matter of "faith," as some skeptics suggest. I have seen its efficacy firsthand through the treatment of animals, who cannot be influenced by belief. Drawing from lessons learned from my grandfather, I have successfully used urine therapy to treat everything from tetanus in cows to abdominal swelling in dogs. I even witnessed how a simple water fast restored the health and productivity of sixty hens. Nature is the ultimate physician; when we apply urine-soaked poultices to wounds or use cow dung to heal a foal's lacerated leg, we are providing the body with the specific nourishment and active properties it needs to repair itself without unsightly scarring.
Furthermore, we must recognize that the skin is a vital, two-way organ that requires the ability to breathe. Clogging the pores with suppressive ointments or excessive clothing only hinders this function. The "rationale" of rubbing the body with old urine is that it opens the pores through friction-generated heat, allowing the body to absorb essential nutrients directly into the tissues. This practice is especially critical during a fast to prevent heart palpitations and to rebuild wasted tissues. Unlike traditional poultices that can be strength-sapping, urine compresses provide local nourishment to boils, burns, and swellings.
In conclusion, the path to optimum health lies in understanding the biochemic needs of our bodies and trusting in the "Water of Life". Whether it is treating a chronic catarrhal condition or a deep-seated sore, the combination of a well-balanced diet and urine therapy offers a way to bring our bodies back into balance. By looking to nature and the examples set by the animal kingdom, we can find the courage to move away from unnatural suppressions and embrace a deeper, more effective understanding of why urine therapy works so well to restore our health.
